I used to DJ out and about in the ’90s and early 2000s, on vinyl. After a long hiatus, my daughter Tiffany invited me onto her final live show on BBC Radio 1Xtra to play back to back. Sharing the decks with her rekindled my love of DJing — and my desire to start playing out again.

One for the
family album.
I used to DJ, and one memory has always stayed with me: turning round to see Tiffany as a toddler, reaching up towards my Technics, my headphones sitting wonky on her head.
She went on to have her own show on KISS, then took over the world-famous Rap Show on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. A few years later, she moved to her own show on 1Xtra.
On 19 December 2025, she invited me into the studio for her final live show on BBC Radio 1Xtra. This time, we were behind the decks together, playing back to back.
That night rekindled my love of DJing. Now I’m looking to start playing out again — next stop Ibiza.
