NOYZ support

Email paul@paulcalver.com. You’ll reach Paul Calver, the developer making NOYZ.

NOYZ is being prepared for its first App Store release. Support is available here for release testers and future listeners.

Listening and timers

Choose a sound and press Play. Built-in sounds work offline and can play all night. A sleep timer fades the sound out; Focus mode gives you a timed session for work, study or reading. Keep the volume comfortable.

If playback stops, check the sleep timer and your audio connection. NOYZ pauses when headphones disconnect. Reconnect them and press Play to continue.

NOYZ Pro and restoring a purchase

NOYZ Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks saved sounds, your imported recordings and playlists, the wake alarm and the Apple Watch remote. All built-in sounds remain free, without a time limit.

To recover Pro after reinstalling or changing iPhone, use Restore Purchase in NOYZ Settings while signed in to the Apple Account that bought it, or an eligible Family Sharing account. A connection to the App Store is needed to check the purchase. Apple handles payment and refund requests.

Your own audio and wake alarm

Import audio from Files with NOYZ Pro, then trim it or adjust the loop. Imported recordings are copied into NOYZ on your iPhone and are not uploaded by the app. The wake alarm needs alarm permission in iPhone Settings.

Report a bug or send an idea

Use Report a bug or Send feedback in NOYZ Settings. You can switch off technical details before sending. These forms do not ask for an email address and cannot receive a reply. If you need a reply, email me instead.

For a support email, include your iPhone model, iOS version, NOYZ version and build, what happened and what you expected. Please leave out private recordings, purchase receipts and personal information unless needed for a specific question. Review screenshots and attachments before sending.
